Assessment of Technology Infrastructure needs in Ukraine (CSA) – HORIZON-CL4-INDUSTRY-2025-01-HUMAN-66
This call aims to support a project that will map and assess the current state of Technology Infrastructures (TIs) in Ukraine, including facilities, services, and damage caused by the war. It seeks to identify the needs of industrial users (including SMEs and large companies), analyze gaps in capacity, and propose an investment agenda to rebuild and modernize TIs as part of Ukraine’s post-war reconstruction. The project will also identify Technology Centres that can pilot integrated service networks to strengthen links between research and industry, encourage innovation, and reduce risks for private R\&I investment.
Expected Outcome:
The project funded under this topic will have the following expected outcomes:
- A comprehensive understanding of the existing landscape of Technology Infrastructures[1] in Ukraine, including existing facilities and their services;
- Assessment of the loss of capacities in Technology Infrastructures in Ukraine in result of the Russian aggression;
- A sound understanding of the specific needs of industrial users, including large companies and SMEs, for Technology Infrastructures in Ukraine;
- An investment agenda for Technology Infrastructures in Ukraine addressing the gaps related to the capacity loss due to war and in view of the future technology development capacity of the Ukrainian industry in support of the reconstruction process.
- Identification of Technology Centres in Ukraine that could pilot an integrated approach to the provision of Technology Infrastructure facilities and services Ukrainian companies to strengthen the connection between research and industry through technology transfer, lowering the risks for private R&I investments.
