Purpose:
Support early-stage deep-tech startups in widening countries by increasing their technology, business, and investment readiness (from TRL 4 to TRL 6).

Target Applicants:

• Single SMEs or small mid-caps based in Horizon Europe widening countries.

• Must have:

  • Validated technology (min. TRL 4)

  • Relevant intellectual property (freedom to operate)

  • A clear go-to-market strategy

  • Ambition to scale up and raise funding

Funding Available:

• Grants between €300,000 and €500,000 (70% of project costs, 30% co-funded by applicant)

• Maximum duration: 2 years

• Total budget: €20 million

• Awarded as lump sums
