This call aims to enhance the integration of research and innovation (R\&I) with standardisation by establishing a long-term mentoring scheme that supports European projects in contributing to the creation or revision of standards. It seeks to increase participation of researchers in standardisation activities, particularly in critical technology areas, thus promoting the development and adaptation of standards to meet emerging industrial needs and facilitating the uptake of new technologies. The initiative builds on the Horizon Standardisation Booster pilot, offering expert services, training, and a platform to maximize impact, while encouraging collaboration across EU and national projects, with a focus on scaling efforts at the member state level to ensure sustainable and widespread benefits.

Expected Outcome:

Proposals are expected to contribute to the following outcomes:

• Increased participation of research performers in standardisation activities by establishing a long-term, sustainable link between R&I and standardisation.
• Increased development and adaptation of standards to meet new industrial needs, particularly in critical technology areas, driven by EU and national research.
• Increased uptake of new technologies through enhanced standardisation activities.
