This call invites projects to analyze the impact of digital tools, including generative AI, on children’s wellbeing and learning in primary and secondary education, focusing on cognitive, emotional, and social aspects. Proposals should provide evidence-based recommendations for creating high-quality, digitally supported educational environments that promote the wellbeing of students, teachers, and school leaders, while addressing factors such as age, gender, disabilities, and socio-economic status. Multidisciplinary, mixed-methods research is encouraged, involving children’s active participation and leveraging European research data infrastructures to ensure accessible and reusable data.
