PMIEF Grants

The PMI Educational Foundation (PMIEF) offers grants to nonprofit organizations that help young people aged 14–24 build skills for their future, with project management as a central element. Funding supports efforts to weave project management into youth programs, strengthen organizational capacity, and develop innovative approaches that help young people apply these skills in real life.

Organizations selected as partners receive more than financial support: PMIEF also provides guidance, training, curriculum assistance, and access to project management professionals who can help implement and improve youth-focused initiatives.

Who Can Apply

Eligible nonprofits must:

  • Work primarily with youth in areas like leadership development, financial education, entrepreneurship, or hands-on learning.

  • Operate nationally or internationally with recognized nonprofit status.

  • Provide services inclusively, without discrimination.

  • Be willing to collaborate closely with PMIEF to embed project management into their programs.

What PMIEF Aims to Support

Projects should:

  • Introduce young people to project management as a useful everyday skill.

  • Broaden understanding and visibility of project management, especially among underserved groups.

  • Develop new or improved models that help youth succeed through project-based approaches.

  • Include a clear plan for measuring outcomes and sustaining the work after the grant ends.

How to Apply

The first step is submitting a Letter of Inquiry (LOI), which allows PMIEF to determine whether the idea aligns with their mission before inviting a full proposal.

The LOI should outline:

  • Key organizational contacts.

  • A short description of the organization and its youth-focused mission.

  • A concise overview of the proposed project and how it connects to PMIEF’s priorities.

  • Expected results, including how many young people will benefit at different learning levels—from basic awareness to advanced application of project management.

  • Staff training needs, methods for assessing progress, possible challenges, partners involved, and a preliminary budget.

Benyújtási határidő: 2026. 01. 01.
