Xecs call 5
What is it?
Xecs is an annual funding call supporting collaborative R&D and innovation projects in the field of Electronic Components and Systems (ECS). The call is aligned with the 2025 ECS Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA) and backed by countries in the Eureka network.
Call Structure:
The application process has two stages:

Project Outline (PO) – initial proposal for evaluation of interest and alignment.

Full Project Proposal (FPP) – detailed plan for execution, submitted if selected after PO stage.

PO submission deadline: 22 January 2026, 17:00 CET

FPP submission deadline: 16 April 2026, 17:00 CEST
Focus Areas:
All areas covered by the 2025 ECS-SRIA are eligible. However, applicants must align their proposals with national funding priorities, which vary by country.
Process Overview (4 Steps):

Project Idea Development – using resources like the AENEAS Events Platform to shape ideas and find partners.

Consortium Building – forming international collaborations through events and online platforms.

Project Submission & Evaluation – two-stage submission with expert and national authority evaluation.

Project Management – support continues after approval, with kick-off meetings, progress reviews, and dissemination support.

Support is provided throughout the entire process, including technical guidance and assistance from the Xecs office.
