Cohesion for Transitions (C4T) is a European Commission initiative that helps EU Member States, regions, and local authorities make better use of Cohesion Policy funding to support the green transition and achieve the objectives of the European Green Deal. The programme promotes peer learning, knowledge exchange, technical assistance, and collaboration among public authorities working on climate, energy, and environmental investments.

Through thematic working groups and tailored support services, participants can share good practices, address implementation challenges, develop practical solutions, and engage with European Commission experts and peers across Europe. The initiative focuses on areas such as renewable energy, energy efficiency, climate adaptation, biodiversity, water management, circular economy, and pollution reduction.

C4T is aimed primarily at public authorities and organisations involved in implementing Cohesion Policy investments under the EU’s objective of building a greener, low-carbon, and more resilient Europe.
