This Horizon Europe call supports the establishment of a European community of practice dedicated to data-driven decision-making in the energy sector. The initiative will bring together key stakeholders across the energy value chain to strengthen cooperation and promote the use of data, digital tools, artificial intelligence and advanced analytics in electricity grid planning, operation and maintenance.

The funded project is expected to facilitate knowledge exchange, support access to planning and simulation tools, and foster the development of innovative open-source solutions, methodologies and data repositories. It will also contribute to the development of a European ecosystem of innovation hubs and to closer collaboration between grid operators, research organisations and technology providers, particularly in the context of integrating renewable energy into European electricity systems.

The action is expected to contribute to the BRIDGE initiative and promote FAIR data principles, open-source practices and cross-sector collaboration. The call is particularly relevant for universities and research organisations, grid operators, energy companies, technology providers and other stakeholders working on energy digitalisation and renewable energy integration.
