The CETPartnership Joint Call 2026

The CETPartnership Joint Call 2026 is a transnational funding programme supporting collaborative research, development, and innovation projects aimed at accelerating the clean energy transition across Europe and associated countries. It is part of a co-funded European partnership that aligns national and regional RDI programmes to strengthen cross-border cooperation along the energy value chain.

The call is structured around 11 thematic Call Modules, covering areas such as renewable energy technologies, energy system flexibility, hydrogen, industrial decarbonisation, heating and cooling, energy storage, and integrated energy systems. Projects must form international consortia and address applied research or innovation challenges with clear relevance to climate-neutral energy systems.

The application process is two-stage, consisting of a pre-proposal followed by a full proposal upon invitation. Funding is provided by participating national and regional funding agencies, meaning each consortium partner is financed according to national eligibility rules and budgets.

Overall, the programme aims to support impactful, market-oriented and system-level energy innovation projects that contribute to Europe’s climate neutrality objectives.
